Blue Tags ERP (“Blue Tags”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our ERP platform, mobile applications, web dashboards, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

1) Who We Are (Controller / Provider)

Blue Tags ERP provides business management tools including POS integrations, inventory, sales, customers, deliveries, notifications, and reporting.

2) Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information depending on how you use the Service:

A. Account & Business Information

  • Name, email, phone number, company name, store name, branch/location identifiers

  • User roles/permissions (admin, cashier, manager, etc.)

B. Transaction & Operational Data

  • Sales invoices, returns, suspended sales

  • Customer records created inside your business account (name, phone, email, address)

  • Product catalog (names, SKUs, barcodes), stock counts, pricing, discounts, taxes

  • Delivery/shipping data (recipient name, phone, address, COD amount, status)

C. Device & Technical Data

  • Device type, OS version, app version, language, crash logs, diagnostic logs

  • IP address, approximate location derived from IP (not precise GPS unless enabled)

  • Identifiers used for security and notifications (e.g., push notification tokens)

D. Integrations Data (Third Parties)

If you connect integrations (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, shipping, payment providers), we may process data received from those platforms such as:

  • Orders, customers, products, fulfillment/shipping events

  • Integration credentials/tokens (stored securely; see Security section)

E. Communications

  • Support messages, emails, chat messages sent to support

  • Logs you choose to upload for debugging

F. Optional / Feature-Specific Data

Some features may request additional data:

  • Notifications: device token to send alerts

  • NFC / Loyalty / Points: tag IDs or identifiers necessary for the feature

  • Camera (Scanning): barcode scanning (we do not store your camera feed)

We do not intentionally collect data from children.


3) How We Use Your Information

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service

  • Create and manage accounts, permissions, and security controls

  • Sync data with connected systems (POS, e-commerce, shipping, payment gateways)

  • Generate reports, analytics, and performance insights

  • Send service messages (alerts, critical notices, OTP/verification where applicable)

  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and improve reliability and user experience

  • Comply with legal obligations


4) Legal Bases (Where Applicable)

Depending on your location, we process data under one or more of these bases:

  • Contract: to deliver the Service you requested

  • Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, service improvement

  • Consent: where you opt-in (e.g., marketing messages, certain permissions)

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information in these cases:

A. Service Providers (Processors)

We use trusted vendors for hosting, storage, analytics, error monitoring, messaging, and email/SMS delivery. They only process data under our instructions and for providing services to us.

B. Integrations You Enable

If you connect third-party platforms (Shopify, shipping providers, payment providers, etc.), data is shared as needed to complete syncing and automation you request.

C. Legal & Safety

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

D. Business Transfers

If Blue Tags is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, data may be transferred as part of that transaction (with appropriate safeguards).


6) Data Retention

We keep information only as long as needed to:

  • Provide the Service

  • Meet legal, tax, accounting, or compliance requirements

  • Resolve disputes and enforce agreements

Retention periods vary by data type. You may request deletion subject to legal/contractual requirements.


7) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your data, including (as applicable):

  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS)

  • Access control, role-based permissions

  • Token and credential protection for integrations

  • Logging and monitoring for abuse prevention

However, no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.


8) Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, update, or delete your data

  • Object or restrict certain processing

  • Request data portability

  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent
